We are sharing with you how to Roast Plums in the Air Fryer. If you have never enjoyed a roasted plum, they are so sweet, soft and juicy. They are a great treat on their own. They also make for a great topping to salads, ice cream, yogurt, mascarpone cheese, pizza, and so much more! Whether you enjoy them right out of the air fryer or on top of something else, it’s a sweet treat that is sure to hit the spot!

Roasted plums might possibly be the easiest dessert that you can make. And, we are using one of our favorite varieties, the Plumsicle™ from HMC Farms. By utilizing the air fryer, these roasted Plumsicles are ready to enjoy in just a few minutes.

How will you know a Plumsicle when you see one? It’s one of the most eye-catching plums around! Look for a yellow starburst of speckles dotting a deep, rich skin. Bite into one and you’ll find juicy reddish-purple flesh that’s ideal for adding vibrant color to your recipes. And of course, look for the HMC Farms logo!

Ingredients Needed for Roasted Plums

Ingredients for Roasted Plums

  • 1 lb Plumsicles
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp turbinado sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon, optional
  • Pinch of sea salt

How to Roast Plums in the air fryer

First, slice the Pumsicle™ down the middle and remove the pit.

Next, brush some maple syrup on the flesh. Then, sprinkle them with turbinado sugar. Finally, add a pinch of cinnamon and sea salt if desired.

Once they are prepared, cut a sheet of parchment paper that will fit the bottom of the air fryer basket. Then, place it inside the basket.

Next, place the Pumsicle™ skin side down on the parchment paper in the air fryer basket.

Finally, air fry at 350 degrees F for 6-8 minutes or until caramelized.

How to Roast Plums

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb Plumsicles
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp turbinado sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon optional
  • pinch of sea salt

Instructions 

  • Slice the Pumsicle™ down the middle and remove the pit. Brush some maple syrup on the flesh and sprinkle with turbinado sugar. Add in a pinch of cinnamon and sea salt if desired.
  • Cut a sheet of parchment paper that will fit the bottom of the air fryer basket and place it inside the basket.
  • Place the Pumsicle™ skin side down on the parchment in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry at 350 degrees F for 6-8 minutes or until caramelized.
